Programa SUR, a translation support programme, is an initiative that has been in place since 2009 within the framework of the Libro Argentino Plan.

- Over 1600 Argentine works have been translated and published in different countries since the implementation of this cultural policy.
- 613 Argentine authors have been translated into 53 different languages.
- 62 countries have published Argentine books under this initiative.
