Every year, industry burns more than 1,100 BCM of natural gas to generate heat or power, releasing more than 2 gigatons of CO₂ into the atmosphere. This process is not only highly polluting, but also completely wastes the gas's chemical value: its hydrogen is lost as heat, and its carbon is trapped in emissions. At the same time, industries face stricter regulations, pressure to decarbonize, and higher operating costs. We are burning the resource that could help us avoid the climate crisis. Einsted solves this problem by transforming that gas into clean hydrogen and reusable carbon directly at the industrial site, without combustion or emissions.
