Social Tango Project

Social Tango Project was founded in 2012. Its mission is to share the social value of dance, celebrating the tango community through dance, music, and audiovisuals, and aims to inspire people to join the dance floor and cultivate tango communities around the world. The show premiered in 2013 at the Teatro de La Ribera and has been presented in major venues across the city. In 2018, it participated in the International Tango Festival in Buenos Aires. In 2023, it had its international premiere at the RiverRun Festival (USA), a tour in Canada supported by the Canada Council for the Arts, and a week at the Blumenthal Performing Arts (USA). In July and October 2024, it will return for tours in both countries.
