The duo Pedretti and Bergesio was conceived with the aim of approaching a popular, Latin American, and contemporary repertoire through a minimalist format, exploring a personal interpretive language. Marcela on piano and Diego on vocals and guitar maintain a strong connection to the Rioplatense music of Buenos Aires, where they reside. They recreate versions of classic and 21st-century tangos and include a selection of Latin American folk music (zambas, boleros) as well as original compositions. During 2023 and 2024, they performed in Uruguay, Brazil, and Europe.
