The Argentine Republic expresses its strong condemnation of the murder of the six Israeli hostages who had been held since October 7 by the terrorist group Hamas. It also extends its condolences to the Israeli Government and people, especially to the families of the victims.
Argentina reiterates its demand for the urgent release of all hostages and its firm condemnation of all forms of terrorism, of which this cruel episode is a clear example.
While recognizing Israel's right to its legitimate defense, Argentina once again requests all those involved to make efforts to reach the necessary compromises to achieve an agreement in line with the principles proposed by President Joseph Biden on May 31, which were endorsed by United Nations Security Council Resolution 2735.
