The Argentine Government conveys its sincerest condolences over the death of Argentine citizens Hernán Diego Mendoza, Diego Enrique Angelini, Alejandro Damián Pagnucco, Ariel Erlij and Hernán Ferruchi as a result of the tragic terrorist attack perpetrated today in New York. Martín Ludovico Marro is in hospital at the Manhattan Presbyterian Hospital, recovering from the injuries suffered and out of danger, according to the official medical report.
The Argentine citizens, from Rosario, were with a group of friends celebrating the 30th anniversary of their high school graduation when the tragic event occurred.
The Consulate General keeps working closely with police authorities and the hospital to which the injured man was taken, as well as with the families in Argentina.
We stand with the families in this terrible moment of deep pain, which is shared by all Argentines.
