Responsible Business Conduct (RBC)

What is Responsible Business Conduct?

Responsible Business Conduct refers to the commitment of enterprises—regardless of their size, structure, legal form, or sector—to prevent and address the negative impacts that their activities may have on people, the environment, and society. This commitment also extends to the actions of other enterprises with which they are linked through supply chains and business relationships. Moreover, it involves actively contributing to the sustainable development of the communities in which they operate.

One of the main international standards in this area is the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises on Responsible Business Conduct (OECD Guidelines) and their Due Diligence Guidance.
