Part II of the Guidelines contains a procedural guide, whose provisions National Contact Points (NCPs) must follow in their operations. In this regard, NCPs shall operate in accordance with the fundamental criteria of visibility, accessibility, transparency, and accountability to promote the achievement of functional equivalence.
While it is the responsibility of companies to comply with the Guidelines in their daily conduct, governments can contribute to enhancing the effectiveness of the implementation procedures.
Accordingly, the ANCP has adopted its own Procedural Manual, which must be applied to any complaint related to the implementation of the aforementioned Guidelines.
