Ankara Arte Contemporáneo is based in Colonia Caroya, Córdoba and, since 2015, it has been working with a strong conviction to showcase, promote, and disseminate the work of artists from Córdoba and Argentina. The gallery represents artists with extensive careers as well as emerging artists and it has built its reputation through exhibitions, participation in art fairs, and establishing connections with other Argentine provinces, including Santa Fe, Tucumán, Salta, and Buenos Aires. In 2016, the gallery created Centro Cultural La Caroyense, a cultural centre where it carries out patronage efforts and the direction and coordination of exhibitions and cultural activities. Since 2019, Ankara has been publishing the ANKARA Arte Contemporáneo magazine to connect the readers with various analyses by art critics and artists. Ankara Arte Contemporáneo constitutes a unique place in its kind in Colonia Caroya and the relevant area of influence.
