Today, the Deputy Foreign Minister, Daniel Raimondi, received the Armenian Deputy Foreign Minister, Ashot Hovakimian, with whom he held the 3rd Political Consultations Meeting between Argentina and Armenia.
Both Deputy Foreign Ministers reviewed the state of bilateral relations, agreements currently under negotiations and main multilateral issues of shared interest. They noted with satisfaction the 25th anniversary of the opening of the Armenian Embassy in Buenos Aires.
During the meeting, they announced the possibility of organizing in 2019 a forum of Armenian businesspeople interested in investing in Argentina and proposed other modalities to strengthen economic-trade exchanges.
Opinions on recent political developments in their respective regions were also exchanged.
Finally, both Deputy Foreign Ministers addressed the bilateral technical cooperation provided by Argentina in the field of agriculture, as well as the ongoing cooperation with Brusov State University.
