"Integrating Synergies", a public-private event dedicated to the energy transition and mining sector, was held on 1 February at the Argentine Embassy in Germany. The event was attended by the Secretary for Mining of the Argentine Republic, Flavia Royon; the Governors of the provinces of Salta, Gustavo Saenz; Catamarca, Raúl Jalil; Jujuy, Carlos Sadir, and San Juan, Marcelo Orrego; the Argentine Ambassador in Germany, Fernando Brun; the president of the Argentine Chamber of Mining Entrepreneurs (CAEM), Roberto Cacciola, and a delegation of Argentine companies.
Argentina’s delegation met with high-ranking authorities of the German government, including Franziska Brantner, Parliamentary State Secretary at the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action, and the audience was made up of German businessmen from the energy transition and mining sector, public officials and technical specialists in the field.
During the event, the existing and potential synergies between the two countries in the energy transition and mining sector were addressed. The meeting also focused on Argentina's capabilities as a global supplier to the mining and critical minerals industry, as well as a promoter of new investments in key projects for the mining development of the country. Within the framework of this visit, the delegation of Argentine businessmen also engaged in a two-day agenda related to the strategic partnership between the governments and companies of both countries, aiming to promote new projects in Argentina.
