Faurie to meet with Jeremy Hunt and Alan Duncan and give a conference at Chatham House

This week, Foreign Minister Jorge Faurie will make an official visit to the United Kingdom, during which he will pursue an important political and economic agenda including high-level meetings and participation in a conference on Latin America at Chatham House.

Faurie will begin his schedule on 24 October with a bilateral meeting with the new Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, Jeremy Hunt, and with a working lunch with British members of Parliament, some of whom are expected to participate in the G20 Parliamentary Forum Meeting on 31 October in Buenos Aires.

On 25 October, the Argentine Foreign Minister will participate in a debate forum on "Economic, Political and Societal Change in Latin America" at Chatham House (The Royal Institute of International Affairs), together with the Minister of State for Europe and the Americas of the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, Sir Alan Duncan, with whom he will hold a working meeting.  During the conference at Chatham House, political and socioeconomic prospects for the region will be considered within a context of changes and structural reforms, as well as common challenges faced by leaders in the continent.

During his visit to London, Faurie will also meet with Argentine scholarship-holding students and will grant interviews to renowned British media.
