The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, International Trade and Worship announces with satisfaction the official incorporation of the Argentine Republic to the Counter Ransomware Initiative (CRI), an international coalition focused on the fight against cyber threats, with special emphasis on ransomware.
The CRI, made up of governments, private companies specialized in information and communications technologies (ICTs) and representatives of civil society, aims to strengthen international cooperation to counter ransomware by creating cybersecurity capabilities, promoting effective policies, knowledge sharing and coordination of global efforts.
The entry of our country marks a significant advance in Argentina's cybersecurity strategy, thanks to the joint work with the competent national departments, thus reaffirming its commitment to cybersecurity, the protection of critical infrastructure and the security of its citizens’ data, in collaboration with the international community.
