Argentina condemns acts of harassment against its Embassy in Caracas

Argentina condemns the acts of harassment to which its diplomatic mission in Caracas has been subjected following the decision of Maduro's regime to cut the electricity supply. In that regard, Argentina warns Venezuela's government against any deliberate action that may endanger the safety of Argentine diplomatic staff and of Venezuelan citizens under its protection, recalling the receiving State's obligation to protect the facilities of the diplomatic mission from intrusions or damage and to preserve its tranquillity and dignity.

Argentina makes an appeal to the international community regarding the importance of advocating for compliance with the international rules that govern diplomatic relations among States.
