W—galería

W was founded in 2016 in the City of Buenos Aires. It has three spaces: W—Archivo, where exhibitions are held with a focus on archives, publications, and research; W—Galería, which, with an ambitious biannual programme, presents contemporary proposals in four large-scale rooms and an impressive garden; and W—Naturae, which offers an exhibition programme located in Pueblo Garzón, in the neighbouring country of Uruguay, aiming to promote green and artistic initiatives related to the environment. In addition, W participates in international fairs, publishes artists’ books and essays, and has been producing Yulinda since February 2019, a biannual publication reflecting on contemporary artistic practices.
