The Imaginario art gallery is a space for production and reflection within Latin American contemporary art. Imaginario's field of action is mainly defined by participatory projects, networked actions with other galleries, digital cultures, non-conventional media, opportunities for emerging artists and recognition of established artists.
Located in an emblematic area of the city of Buenos Aires, the gallery is just a few blocks from the historic headquarters of the Di Tella Institute and the famous Florida Garden café, which is still a meeting point for some visual artists.
Imaginario currently occupies the ground floor of an Art Deco building, designed by Valentín Brodsky in 1923, which housed the studios of prominent artists such as Luis Benedict and Juan Carlos Vidal.
